Lu Engineers was retained by the Regional Transit Service (RTS) to evaluate the Eastman Avenue Bus Shelter to plan the re-use of the site to become a new Connection Hub for RTS’s bus service system. Lu Engineers performed a limited Phase II Site Assessment, including a limited geophysical survey and evaluation of Site-wide subsurface soil conditions. Based on available site data and background information on the past use of the property, Lu Engineers also developed a Soil Management Plan to ensure compliance with applicable NYSDEC soil handling requirements which included contingencies for addressing potential environmental concerns during construction.

Lu Engineers is currently assisting RTS with environmental compliance during the construction process.
