Monroe County Department of Transportation commissioned Lu Engineers to execute Phases I through VI on this Locally Administered Federal Aid LAFA Project to conduct preventative maintenance at three culvert sites: Beahan Road over Little Black Creek in the Town of Chili; South Winton Road over Allen’s Creek in the Town of Brighton; and Norton Street over Densmore Creek in the Town of Irondequoit. Lu Engineers performed preliminary engineering, final design, construction support and construction inspection.

- Repairs to concrete spalls and cracks within barrels of culvert
- Repairs to damaged adjacent drainage system: replace collapsed pipe, relocated pipe to eliminate penetration of wingwall
- Hardening of stream banks
Norton Street over Densmore Creek
- Removal and placement of new trash rack/security fence at upstream end of culvert
- Minor concrete repairs to barrel of culvert
- Upgrade to adjacent guide rail
- Coordination of work with adjacent highway design project
- Coordination with MCDQ for access
