Working as a subconsultant, Lu Engineers provided both environmental and engineering design services to improve access roads to Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport (ROC) in Rochester, NY. As highway engineering consultant, Lu Engineers was responsible for producing a report documenting that the modern single lane roundabout designed as part of the project meets all Federal Highway Administration (FHA) roundabout design geometric standards. The project both improves airport access and ensures the safety of the travelling public and the over 2.4M passengers served by ROC annually.
