Lu Engineers designed the new Applinville Road Bridge and provided construction inspection for this project. The new bridge is a 125-ft., single span steel plate-girder bridge constructed on concrete integral abutments on a deep foundation system.

The deck is reinforced HP concrete, and has a rail-to-rail width of 24’-0”. Approximately 1,000-ft of approach roadway was constructed to connect Applinville Road to the bridge and the bridge to NYS 63.
